These terms govern your use of BriefEngine, a Chrome extension operated by Yushal Enterprises ("we," "us," "our"). By installing or using BriefEngine, you agree to these terms.
BriefEngine reads the Google search results page you are actively viewing, when you click "Generate Brief," and uses this data to generate an SEO content brief via an AI model. It is a tool intended to assist content planning; it does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, or any specific business outcome.
"Unlimited" usage on the paid plan is intended for normal, good-faith use by a single individual or business for their own content planning needs. We reserve the right to review accounts showing usage patterns consistent with automated abuse, scripted/bot access, or resale or sharing of a single license across multiple unrelated users or organizations. The overwhelming majority of legitimate users will never be affected by this policy. We do not impose any visible cap on normal usage and will not throttle or block a subscriber engaged in ordinary use. In cases of suspected abuse, we may contact the account holder for clarification before taking any action, and may suspend or terminate access for confirmed violations.
You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content generated by BriefEngine before using it. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, and you should not rely on it as a substitute for your own editorial judgment. You agree not to use BriefEngine to violate Google's Terms of Service, attempt to circumvent usage limits through automated means, or share your access key with parties outside your own organization's legitimate use.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Paddle, our payment processor and merchant of record. You may cancel at any time through Paddle's customer portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis by contacting hello@briefengine.io.
If you are not satisfied with BriefEngine, you may request a refund by emailing hello@briefengine.io within 14 days of your most recent charge. Refund requests are reviewed individually and are typically granted for:
Refunds are not guaranteed for extended periods of unused access, or for accounts found to be in violation of the fair use policy described above. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method through Paddle, our payment processor, and typically appear within 5-10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
BriefEngine assists with content planning but makes no guarantee regarding search engine rankings, organic traffic, or any other outcome resulting from content created using its briefs.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for losses resulting from temporary downtime, maintenance, or issues with third-party services we depend on (including Google's search results pages, our AI provider, or our hosting infrastructure).
We may update these terms as BriefEngine evolves. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
BriefEngine is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Extension.
